Prambanan, June 2026 — In the spirit of inviting the public to connect more closely with nature, culture, and a healthy lifestyle, while also celebrating the 5th anniversary of Amaranta Prambanan Yogyakarta, Amaranta presents the Amaranta Sunset Trail Walk, a leisurely walking event to be held on Saturday, 18 July 2026, from 15.30–17.00 WIB.
Adopting a Trail concept, participants will be invited to walk a 5 KM route connecting various iconic points in the Prambanan area, starting from Sky Garden Amaranta Prambanan Yogyakarta, continuing to Bendungan Pandanrejo, Candi Barong, Candi Dawangsari, Arca Ganesha, and ending at Spot Riyadi, with stunning natural panoramas and a breathtaking sunset along the way.
This event is open to a wide range of participants, from communities, families, and sports enthusiasts to travelers wanting to experience a different side of Yogyakarta in a more relaxed and meaningful way. Beyond walking, participants will also be invited to immerse themselves in nature, culture, and the charm of the Prambanan hills as the sun sets.
According to Firdha L. Agusta, General Manager of Amaranta Prambanan Yogyakarta, this event is part of a series of celebrations marking Amaranta's five-year journey in delivering authentic stay and travel experiences in the Prambanan area.
“Amaranta Sunset Trail Walk is more than just a sporting activity. It is an opportunity to enjoy the beauty of nature, strengthen togetherness, and see Prambanan's cultural heritage from a different perspective, especially in the magical atmosphere of sunset. Through this 5th anniversary celebration, we want to share a meaningful experience with the community and the guests who have been part of Amaranta's journey so far.”
